How to choose an engagement ring: a guide before ordering
Choosing an engagement ring starts with a design you love, but fit, comfort and product details deserve just as much attention. This guide will help you narrow your choices and identify what to confirm before ordering a made-to-order ring.
Start with the overall style
Think about the jewelry the person who will wear the ring already enjoys: understated or prominent designs, a simple band or additional detailing, and their preferred gold colour.
Shortlist two or three designs. Compare the whole ring from the top and side—not only the centre stone. The stone’s shape, setting and band width all contribute to the overall appearance.

Check the stone and gold details for the specific design
Before ordering, make sure you understand the product information:
- What is the centre stone, and what is its shape?
- Does the stated weight describe the centre stone or all the stones combined?
- What gold purity and colours are available for the design?
- Which details are already specified, and which need confirmation for your order?
If information is missing, ask us. Do not infer dimensions, weight or stone specifications from a photograph alone. Images may show a sample configuration; check the options and specifications for the ring you are ordering.
If a grading report is supplied, confirm that it relates to the exact stone assigned to your order, rather than the ring design generally.

Consider comfort and ring size
Ask about the band width, setting height and how the ring sits on the finger. If another ring will be worn alongside it, discuss how the designs fit together.
For reliable sizing, have a jeweler measure the intended finger professionally. An existing ring is useful only if it fits the same finger on the same hand. Do not rely solely on string, paper or an image on a screen.
Do not assume every design can be resized later. Confirm the available options for the specific ring before ordering.
Set a comfortable budget and compare the selected options
Choose a budget that works for you. When comparing designs, check the price for your selected options—not only the advertised “from” price.
Product prices displayed to customers in Israel include VAT. Review delivery charges and the total payable amount before completing checkout.
Check timing before planning around a date
PESO rings are made to order. The automated checkout confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order; production begins only after PESO sends a separate written order acceptance.
For delivery in Israel, the current shipping policy allows up to 15 business days from checkout to dispatch, followed by up to 7 additional business days for delivery—up to 22 business days in total, unless otherwise agreed in writing before acceptance. The period does not restart when the order is accepted. Business days exclude Fridays, Saturdays, Israeli public holidays and statutory rest days.
If the ring is intended for a proposal or event on a particular date, contact us before ordering to check the timing.
Your final checklist
Before ordering, confirm the design, size, selected options, stone and gold details, total price and delivery timing. Review the cancellation, warranty and resizing terms too—do not assume an order can be changed after production begins.
